EB Digital School is a nonprofit online microschool for grades 6–12. We specialize in flexible, remote secondary education paths, guiding students to a U.S. high school diploma.

Under the umbrella of Emergent Bilingual Institute (EBI), a provider of accredited educator programs, EB Digital School provides equitable and globally accessible education to middle and high school students across the U.S. and around the world.

Though based remotely in Texas, we serve students across North America and worldwide.

Flexible and Fully Asynchronous

Self-Paced Middle School Program: Grades 6th-8th

Best For: Families with Varying Schedules

$498 $249 per month

A flexible, self-paced academic program for independent learners in grades 6–8. Ideal for homeschoolers or students who need personalized pacing.

Includes:

  • Self-paced courses using Edgenuity, the award-winning digital curriculum from Imagine Learning, trusted by schools across the U.S.

  • On-demand support from Imagine Learning’s certified teachers for specific questions or difficult course sections

  • Elective courses in world languages, fine arts, technology, and more

  • Supportive accommodations for a variety of learning needs

  • Suggested 4-day schedule (Tues–Fri)

  • 1-on-1 check-ins with the EB Digital School teacher, available in 15-minute sessions during school operational hours

  • Students may choose from regular or honors classes

  • Progresses directly into our high school diploma program

Self-Paced High School Program: Grades 9-12

Best For: Teens Needing Non-Traditional School Hours

A diploma-track program designed for high school students needing flexible scheduling, independent pacing, credit recovery, or a homeschool setting.

Includes:

  • On-demand support from Imagine Learning’s certified teachers for specific questions or difficult course sections

  • Elective courses in world languages, career readiness, and creative subjects

  • Suggested 4-day schedule (Tues–Fri)

  • 1-on-1 check-ins with the EB Digital School teacher, available in 15-minute sessions during school operational hours

  • Students may choose from regular or honors classes

  • Courses may be taken for initial credit or credit recovery

  • Courses lead to a U.S. diploma from a Texas-registered nonprofit private school

Structured with Daily Live Engagement

Class-Paced Middle School Program: Grades 6-8

Best For: Families Wanting Set Schedules and Engagement

A structured diploma-track program for middle school students in a microschool setting with small class sizes. Designed for learners who benefit from a balance of routine and flexibility.

Includes:

  • Structured asynchronous courses using Edgenuity, the award-winning digital curriculum from Imagine Learning, alongside teacher-selected Clever learning resources.

  • Live daily homeroom: Community-building and support session with peers

  • Live ESL support classes, based on English proficiency

    • Beginner & Intermediate: Up to Two days

    • Advanced & Advanced High: One day

  • Live class rotations between four core areas:

    • English Language Arts

    • Social Studies

    • Social-Emotional Learning

    • Electives

  • Live remote extracurriculars, including:

    • Book Club

    • International Club

    • Language Clubs (Spanish & ASL)

    • Running Clubs (Sprint & Long Distance)

  • 4-day school week (Tuesday–Friday)

    • ~Approximately 2.5 hours a day of live engagement (homeroom, ESL if needed, a rotating focus area, and either an extracurricular, office hours, or tutorials), plus

    • ~2.5 hours of independent online coursework.

  • Scheduled office hours and tutoring

  • Supportive accommodations from EB Digital School teachers for diverse learning needs

  • On-demand support from Imagine Learning’s certified instructors for difficult course sections, especially helpful in science and math

Emergent Bilingual Institute (EBI) is fully accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) for its professional development courses, career school certificates, and secondary education programs under EB Digital School.

EB Digital School is also registered with the State of Texas as a nonprofit private school, and instructors are certified in multiple states, including Texas (TX), Indiana (IN), and South Carolina (SC).
